Oil & grease reported above the permit limit at one outfall in two of the last three monitoring periods — including the most recent. Compliance sequence shown period by period; every fact carries the official EPA record link, violation ID, and dates.

Data-quality context

Public records can lag one week to three months and may be revised or already resolved. The record does not identify root cause. We say so, on every signal.

Commercial hypothesis — labeled, never dressed as fact

A repeated oil-and-grease result at a rolling mill may justify reviewing skimming, coalescing separation, filtration, or rolling-lubricant housekeeping. Matched only to the categories your firm actually sells. Never a claim the plant "needs equipment."

The economics — your math, not our prediction. We never estimate what a named facility will spend; the public record can't support that and you'd be right not to trust anyone who pretends it can. What you can price is your own category: if a typical oil/water separation, filtration, or treatment project grosses $10,000–$100,000+, one incremental win funds years of the service. If your typical win grosses a few hundred dollars, PlantSignal is not for you.
